Isn't it ironic? Don't ya think?

Well, my Mother's Day ended with a trip to the Emergency Room. How ironic that last time we were moving across the country we also had a hospital trip. I'm just glad this one was less eventful. A little medical glue and we were good to go. Phew. Happy Mother's Day to me!

Did you hear about Ryan, the frozen marshmallow, and his tongue? He almost ended up there today too! I'm glad everything's okay for both of you. :)

Happy First mother's day as SUPER MOM!! Sorry it was with a trip to the emergency room. I don't know why emergency rooms require so much waiting... if it's really an emergency it seems like it should be faster. I had to get stitches near my eyebrow when I was about her age... still have the scar. A dog scratched me. What's her story? You're always so good at being succint (even my comments are longer than your post). It makes for awesome writing and lots of questions for the rest of the story.

OH my gosh! As the boys were jumping off of the stairs tonight into a giant heap of pillows I thought to myself, "HA! wouldn't that be horrible if I had to spend my mother's day in the emergency room?"

p.s. Thomas had a little medical emergency in the exact same spot! And I'm a big fan of the glue. So much easier than stitches!!

Happy Mother's day!!

Oh no! Well I'm glad it wasn't as eventful as last time. Let us know when you guys are in town and if you have time we'll have you over for dinner or lunch or something!

Erin - she fell against the edge of the door. Nothing too spectacular or uncommon for a kid. It's a miracle we haven't gone to the ER more often, actually! :) You should see the shiner she's sporting now. I'll have to post pictures!

Yeah, great end to Mothers' Day. How scary that it is close to her eye. I am glad everything turned out okay.

Oh man, Erin. I keep meaning to get that black eye picture up, but things have been crazy. I'll put it up soon, I promise!
