Five hours, eight states. Yeah, the East rocks. Went to Trenton just for you, brother of mine.

okay, apparently nobody wants to comment on Jersey but me. Well, I have a NJ experience that I want to share. So there. ;-) Years ago (1998) I flew out there to visit a good friend who lives in Absecon. It's near Atlantic City. He showed me all the sights and I saw lady liberty from, I think, pretty much the same vantage point that you did 'cause that picture you took looked similar to the one I took in my head. And I was also floored at how "short" she really is! My whole life I envisioned this towering, humongous statue. I think it's her sentimental value that increases her grandeur.
Hey, I can say I've been to New Jersey too! I flew into the airport in Newark or something like that on my way to Florida for my FBLA adventure. I think I remember seeing the Statue of Liberty briefly on our descent. Yep, short, but it counts, right?
I should have had you visit our NJ store! It is just minutes from NYC, so I'm sure you were super close to it. How did you like The City?! Isn't it so fun? You guys have really made the most of your time back East. Well done. I don't think we're going to be near as well traveled as you guys. You've set a high standard!!
Yeah, Asialene. You say that as you write from AUSTRALIA after you've visited China, France, and Bolivia in the last year. And lived in Peru and Cayman Islands while married. Ha, ha, ha. Sweetheart, unless I win the lottery I will never be as well traveled as you!
For the record, I thought it was Davis. :) Now, let's talk about your lame-o sister who hasn't traveled anywhere except driving through states to move to a new place (but only stopping at the oh so cultural gas station for potty breaks). The only vacations we've ever gone on were to Utah to see family and to Nebraska to see family. Oooh! Ooooh! And we went to Chile when mom and dad were there! That's something! :)
Linds - nope, we haven't been yet! Crazy because it is so close. But we are planning on going to Harper's Ferry some time in the Spring. Maybe sooner, but I think I'd rather go when the weather is better!

Did you happen to see any of the Sopranos? You might have seen then throwing something in the river! Looks like you had a great trip!

I missed the NJ post! Darn. You should do one of those map widgets that shows all the states you've been to.

Or maybe "Yeah, Davis." Now I'm thinking about it, it might have been you that wrote. But either way, my comment is the same. :)

I love pictures by the state signs--classic! I really think it is so great that you are seeing so much.
I really think there's no better portrait than a self-portrait taken in front of a road sign.
