Super Tuesday

Tomorrow is D-day!! I have been anxiously awaiting this day for nearly a year now. Yes, I am obsessed with the Presidential Primaries. To a degree that is nearly unheard of. If you only knew!! For those of you who are unaware, Super Tuesday is dubbed that because 24 states are holding their primaries. It is likely that all of you will also be voting tomorrow (or you darn well better be!) So, for those of you who are curious about who Samuel and I are voting for, read the following (laugh out loud hilarious) article:

The Elephant in the Room by Ann Coulter

ps. In case you care, my second choice is Hillary, Sam's second is Obama. Bring on the hate mail! :)

i was really afraid at first that i would like romney just because he was lds...but it is more and more clear that he really is the best choice. we can't wait to vote!

and, i'm curious...why is hillary your second choice?

I know - I was kinda turned off Romney at first because I felt like so many Mormons liked him just because he is LDS. But honestly, he is so smart and competent - he would really be the best person to have in office!

And why Hillary? The strongest reason is because the issue that most worries me is the economy, and second to Romney, she seems to be the most capable of saving us. I also really like her views on education, the environment, immigration, and energy. (All issues that I don't agree with Romney 100% on.) There are things that really bother me about her, but (cross your fingers) if Romney doesn't make it, she's my next favorite. Sam hates her, though, and is on a mission to commit me to Obama! :)

I'll try to stop the hate mail that will surely come when Barry finds out your second choice. We are excited for super tuesday too. :)

okay, so i took one of those polls to see who you would vote for and mine came out Huckabee. huckabee???? so NOT voting for him!! i think if i knew more about the issues, it would come out differently, hopefully! the more i learn, the more i like Romney. i'm not really into politics, but i think the whole president thing is kinda important. :) and yes, i think you're crazy for the whole hillary thing. and let's hope trenton doesn't see it, cuz i don't think you'll get hate mail...just a hate phone call or maybe the silent treatment. :)

Bart & I also will be voting tomorrow. I actually registered as a republican (despite my vowing never to do so) in order to vote for Romney in the primarys. And I have to admit, I was seriously considering registering Democrat in order to vote AGAINST Hillary (Sorry to dis your second choice Janae_.

As far as I can tell, on issues there is not much of a difference between her and Obama...other than the fact that Obama won't force Health Care on everyone and Hillary will. If it is between Obama and McCain, I'm voting for Obama. If it's between Hillary and McCain, I will have a VERY hard time deciding.

I always loved politics but lately we're(Austin included) obsessed with it. We watch all the debates and that's why I can say I LOVE Romney, not because he's an lds but because I truly think he's our BEST choice, especially with the economy the way it is. Also fYI I REALLY dislike McCain (he's the typical slime[sp] ball politician). Huckabee, is just running because of the large number of Evangelical Cristians whose votes were out for grabe. I'll agree with you about Obama not having any (yes, 2 years to me is nothing) experience, not to mention that on South Carolina he played the "race" card all the time...plus I read his book "The Audacity of hope" and he is not practicing what he preached. As for Clinton, I don’t want a couple for President plus do you really want someone with PMS running the country!? :) So take the race, sex and religion out of the picture (cause in a real job interview we can’t even mention them) and Romney is just the right men for the job because he has proven himself over & over again…not bad for someone that can’t even vote!!! :)
(Hope i didn't offended anyone that reads this...it really wasn't my intent)

janae, how could you?

I cannot believe that any republican could ever consider voting for Hilary or Obama as a "second choice". So Janae, I hope you're independent. Otherwise, I'm completely dumbfounded!!! If anyone listens to Sean Hannity, Rush, and the like they all say the same thing: There is no real difference between Hilary and Obama, and ANY republican nominee (ANY ANY ANY ANY ANY) is better than what the dems will have to offer. If Romney doesn't get the nomination, I will have to somehow prevent my stomach contents from going all over the voting machine as I cast a vote for McCain. But I refuse to contribute to the election of the current dems! Bill Clinton was responsible for the highest tax hikes in the history of this country and we're only in for more if another dem gets to office. The economy tanked then, and it will tank again! Speaking of environment, The dems (and unfortunately McCain) buy this whole global warming nonsense. Science has already proven we're on the verge of a cooling period! Northern Europe is already suffering from loss of tourism because it's TOO COLD THERE AND IT'S GETTING COLDER!! McCain may be a horrible republican, but when democratic leaders in congress defund our troops, embolden our enemies, and call our own service men and women "cold-blooded murderers", I'll take him over any traitor to this nation. When the dems took over congress, the terrorists and the terrorist nations celebrated...need I say more?

Barry, THE Republican

all I can say is...sorry

lol - Cara you are hilarious for apologizing for him. No worries. I'm related to Ole. I get it all the time. But Barry, you can put your fears to rest because I am not a Republican. I'm a Democrat. And Sam is Independent. So while we disagree on a lot of policy issues, I am not voting for a Democrat out of hate for McCain. :) Okay, I guess technically I am Republican right now. I switched so I can vote for Romney in the primaries. (Utah has closed primaries - if you are a Democrat, you can only vote for Democratic candidates). But, no worries. I'll switch back as soon as the primaries are over. Or, if Sam has his way, I'll register Independent. :)

Hillary?!?!? Janae, I think she might be Satan. :) You and my little sister need to hang out - she loves Satan, um, I mean Hillary.

My first choice is a nice, juicy steak wrapped in bacon and slathered with butter. But if that doesn't work out I think I'll have some steamed carrots and broccoli, because that is definitely my second choice.

Oh, wait, this isn't the food blog? Sorry, my mistake.
