Once upon a time I gave birth naturally to a beautiful baby boy. Then I blinked and he turned 1.
Enoch is the most sweet and contented baby I've ever seen. I swear, it's my blessing for having three babies so close together. (For three weeks after his birthday I have a 3 year-old, 2 year-old, and 1 year-old.)
Enoch is also my whitey. Both Sease and Lije got the Ricks family olive-toned tan skin. Not my Enoch. He is fair as fair can be. White and delightsome.
Enoch showed his true colors when we opened his birthday presents - he was thrilled as can be with every one. He put on a better show than I've seen almost any kid under 15 do. He was delighted about everything. Makes ya want to give him more presents. :)
Enoch is my biggest kid yet. It's those Smith linebacker genes. ;) On his first birthday he was 30 inches tall and 23 pounds. That same day Seara weighed 33 lbs and Elijah 32 lbs. Both were 37 inches. If Enoch keeps gaining, people are gonna start asking if I have triplets, rather than just twins!
If all babies were like unto Enoch, every mother in the world would have fifteen children. I love this boy!

This last year has DEFINITELY flown by! I love all the details about your darling 1 year old. Makes my kid look tiny...he's only 20 lbs!!

How fun! Lexi is turning one on August 3rd, so we're excited about that landmark too! I hope she's as good as Enoch, as far as being delighted with gifts... :)
Happy Birthday Enoch! He IS a big boy! I'm so glad that he's been such a good baby. You deserve that with how many diapers you've been changing and then potty training two at once and moving twice... He seems like such a sweet baby. MOst 1 year old could care about gifts- they just want to eat the paper!

He's one already!? Holy smokes, it seems like the older you get the faster time flies. I've heard that before, but as a youngster, I didn't believe it.

Erin - thanks for the birthday wishes! :) Mine is the day after Enoch's. We didn't really do anything special for me that day. Enoch had leftover cake so we ate that. But my brother got his endowment that morning, so we got to go to the temple. That was wonderful!
Ok. FACT. I LOVE this baby. He is my absolute favorite person ever. We decided yesterday that we are going to be best friends. Even though he is 18 years my younger, we are still going to be best friends. And "our thing" is going to be eating watermelon (since we have done is 3 times now atleast). We are pretty much each other's favorites, and I will love him forever.
